I’m sharingthe garter that I made for my wedding! Cassie and I made our own gartersand we got the idea fromthiswebsite! Even though we loved these garters we knew that we wouldn’t be spending $190 on a garter we would wear for just one day. To make mine I found elastic lace from a local fabric shop in downtown Dallas and found the perfect crystal applique online atGlorys Houseto attach. Total I spent under $15, can you believe that!?!

I love vinyl because in no time you have a completed craft and something cute to show off! I bought these 22lb Pet Food Containers from The Container Store when they were having a sale. We have two cats and two Scottish Terriers and one of our cats is a bit on the heavy side so I knew these containers would be hard and hopefully impossible for her to topple over and break into. You may be laughing, but I’m being completely honest! Since I bought two of the same container I needed to differentiate the two so that it was easier to tell who’s food you’re getting. Insert quick vinyl project here!

Washi tape, or small craft tape, has been really popular these past couple years. I’ve never bought any and never really knew what to do with it. I’ve always loved all the looks and designs – there are so many options! Even duct tape is starting to sell a small decorative version.
Here are some simple crafts using this craft tape to add some personality to every day items.

A couple of coworkers recently had a baby and several of us wanted to get something to congratulate them on their babies. One of my girlfriends saw the cutest idea to turn onsies into cupcakes here. We went to Target and bought their Circo brand onsies, which were on Target Cartwheel for an additional 20% off savings! We ended up with 12 onsies and 12 pairs of socks for the gift.
